It was so fun listening to him explain the projects and what he learned. He LOVED it!!! She was nice about it. She didn't tell me about how many mistakes I made. She just made me feel good about my writing. She was encouraging and made me want to write. She read stories, and that got me inspired and made me think about how to take the story and make my own story.</div> <bR> <div> Phoebe: I liked how she taught us how to express things, how to put excitement into our story, make it really good, and how to correct stuff. I liked the 75 cent words and golden lines. I liked her a lot!</div> <bR> <div> Mom: Pat, I can't thank you enough for taking my very reluctant writer and making him into an enthusiastic writer, and taking my prolific writer and helping her put excitement and description into her stories. Both kids came away from your workshop glowing with enthusiasm for writing and looking forward to the next workshop. Thank you so much! It seemed no matter what "program" I tried, they just couldn't take off. With a little help from Pat all the pieces fell in place. My children are voracious readers now! They even ask for books for Christmas. Their test scores have sky-rocketed. I'm one happy momma! Dylan and Eden are always excited to attend the classes and come home excited. I love to over-hear them explaining something to each other with "Mrs. Pat says..."
